Breslins and Malleys, Lettermacaward

Hello everyone,
My name is Judy Stephens from Santa Rosa, California. My Irish families are Breslins
and Malleys (with assorted spellings)
from the townlands of Dooey and Ranny. I have lots of information beginning with Edward Breslin (b 1810/Dooey)
marrying Anna Malley (b 1822/Dooey) and their eight children: Patrick, Owen, Connell, Anna Maria, Sarah, John, Delia and Edward. Patrick, Sarah and John remained in Ireland--the others came to California and settled in San Francisco, Oakland and Madera.
Would be very happy to share information. Would like to find the siblings of Edward and Anna.

Hello Judy and everyone

My name is Jim Reilly and I am from Milford, Connecticut USA. My relatives were also Breslin/Malleys. Michael Breslin born 1894 in Ranny and Madge Melly born 1891. They separately emigrated to the USA where they were reunited at a dance/social in Manhattan (NYC) given on special nights for each Irish county. This was Donegal night. They married in NYC in 1920 and settled in Bridgeport, Connecticut USA. I look for to speaking with everyone who has connections to these families in Ranny and sharing information, photographs, etc.
